In the beginning...

The earth was formless, amorphous, and void.
God in Spirit hovered over the waters.
Segregate - the night from the day, He says, "and let there be light!" [1]

Take me back, take me back.
To when You created me, show me how to be free.

God has hidden His heart in His creation,
From Genesis to Revelation.
God has hidden His heart in the beginning and the end.
Creation to destruction.

Cycle, vicious cycle.
We bloom, we grow.
We bleed, we die.
Agh
Cycle, endless cycle.
Change and renew me.
Grow and reduce me.

Less of me, and more of You.
Take my life and make me new.
Saturate my bones until I bloom.
